Willowpaw's Training

Squirrelstar waited just outside of camp for her apprentice, Willowpaw, to come.

ic: Willowpaw bounded out of camp to her mentor ready to start.

"Alright, what do you want to do first? Borders, hunting, or battle practice? Not we'll be doing a little bit of all three today." she said, padding alongside WIllowpaw through the territory.

Borders!" she exclamed jumping up

Squirrelstar laughed. "Ok, ok. Borders." Squirrelstar laughed, padding off.

Willowpaw followed her tail lashing with excitement

IC- Squirrelstar padded nimbly through the territory, turning back occasionally to check for Willowpaw. Her apprentice was smart and fine, but also her adopted daughter. She turned and leaped into a tree and beckoned to Willowpaw. "Jump up here." she said simply, sitting on a somewhat low, somewhat high, branch.

she tried to leap but missed the branch by a long shot. She tried again but missed. " why can't I jump like you?" She whimpered trying again with no avail.

"Because your young, and this is your first time out of camp." Squirrelstar meowed soothingly. As the apprentice jumped again, she grabbed her scruff and hauled her onto the branch.

She balanced on the branch, she carefully picked her way to the thicker side of the branch.

Squirrelstar pointed to an immensley tall tree, pine leaves covering its branches as it loomed over the forest. "That's High-Pine. It borders ShadowClan. Now, try and do this to High-Pine." Squirrelstar ordered, then leaped across the branch to one from a tree close to them, and continued branch-hopping, until she stopped at an immense pine branch of High-Pine. She would seem a bright orange blob from far away, such as where Willowpaw is.

Willowpaw leaped and landed clumsily on the next branch that swayed under her weight." ah!" she cried she jumped to the inter part of the branch and made a sigh of relief.Willowpaw squared up the next branch, she leaped and landed on the branch and creeped her way over to the next side.She leaped and missed the high branch by a whisker and fell to the ground with a loud thump. She slowly got up and climbed the tree." ow.." she wispered to her self.Willowpaw made her way to her mentor with a lot of falling,swaying, and jumping.Once she got there she sighed and sat down on a thick branch." how did I do?" she asked tilting her head.
