Stripedtail padded out and sat down.

"As you all know, I need to select a deputy," he meowed "I say these words before Starclan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice." He paused and looked at the small amount of warriors "The new RiverClan deputy will be Stripedtail"

Ic: Stripedtail raised his chin proudly. Yes! He thought. This would surely make things much easier for him and Nightwing. He dipped his head, almost forgetting his part of the ceremony. "I am honored, Leopardstar, and I hope to help lead the clan to its full potential alongside you." He meowed.
