Deputy ceremony!!!

Whitestar bounded up onto the tallrock standing straight and tall "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join her beneath the tallrock for a clan meeting" she called the familiar words of a meeting.

Brightstream lightly treaded over, sleep filling her eyes.

Quietbreeze padded slowly over, glancing nervously up at Whitestar.

Rabbitfoot entered camp just in time to hear the call, and he sat down next to his mate best friend, Quietbreeze.

"I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Windclan is Brightstream!" she yowled.

Rabbitfoot's ears twitched. He remained silent, then, closing is eyes, stood up. "Greystar, I.. I'm sorry if.. If I'm offending you, though, but.. It's against the Warrior Code to name a cat deputy if they haven't mentored an apprentice." He sounded scared and nervous as he corrected the leader, hoping he didn't make her angry.

Brightstream nodded, padding up. "Yes. I'm really honored, but..." she looked up at Whitestar. "I honestly don't think I'm ready, and Rabbitfoot is right."

"Look at Windclan do you see any other cats with an apprentice!" she snapped, raising her head and just glared at Rabbitfoot and Brightstream "Either get a deputy now or show that we are weak and deputyless." she growled.

And Breezesong was there the whole time

Brightstream looked at Whitestar, a little stern this time. "What about Quietbreeze?" She and the warrior had trained together. "She helped train Breezesong."

"Helped" she growled

Breeze crawled deeper into her corner, not wanting to speak up.

Whitestar let out another low growl "I do not want to deputize Quietbreeze" she hissed "There might aswell be no deputy for Windclan" she then vanished into her den.

IC- Rabbitfoot spat angrily. "Whitestar is a horrible leader... her temper is too short and she has no patience." he half whispered half hissed.

Quietbreeze shrank back a little at the leader's tone, but soon relaxed. "She's right though...w-we'll have to go deputy-less for a while...No one qualifies for the job." She murmured.

Ooc: are there any kits?

Brightstream stepped up in front of the group. "If Whitestar won't pick a deputy traditionally..." the she-cat looked uncertain. "Then we'll just have to go on as we were... until somecat qualifies."
