Dead By Your Name

OOC- Even though he is one of my first characters, I don't RP him even more. It was really fun while it lasted, but now he's a lost cause. Besides, he's old enough to die of oldness anyways.

IC- Poison coughed, the deep rasping noise racking his frail body. His fur hung loosely around him, and his bones prominently showed. He knew he was poisoned, but he was too old and slow to hunt. What better way to die eating food fed with my name? At least I'll live up to my name.. Heh. he thought, taking another bite of a fat, poisoned rat. He knew this was his time. He parted his jaws and let his raspy voice carry a melody that sounded sweet, even though it gave voice of death.
"O, StarClan, forget my deeds. I let my hate get control of me.
I lost it, I forgot it, but now I look back and frown.
That's not the real me, I swear, I promise.
Just take me to StarClan, so I can sit among your starry ranks.
Eat the most lush prey and forget my name.
Take me, take me, take me home.
Let me, let me, sit with my ancestors."
He finished wryly, then rested his head on his paws.
