Dead and Ivy need to talk

Deadkit poked at his mother's head. After an hour of this, he tapped her head, waiting for her to wake up.

Ivyfire blinked "Yes?" she asked.

Cloudkit woke up at it, as he was sleeping next to Ivyfire and Deadkit, "Hello," he whispered before going back to sleep.

"We need to talk, But since Cloudkit is here, we have to talk here. Why do you do this to him?" he asked. He gave up that he made Cloudkit, but she still didn't accept it.

"Because he could've turned around and camp back instead of exploring with you" she hissed.

"What if I put it this way. I may have unsheathed my claws." he replied.

"And he's like my brother!" Cloudkit objected. "I couldn't let him go alone."

"Please stay out this, I'm doing all of this for you."

Cloudkit ducked his head and nodded.

Ivyfire looked at them "I don't care. Whats done is done and you're both being punished" she stood up and stretched.

"Don't walk away from me! I don't think we're done here!" he growled.

She whipped around "Excuse me? We don't talk to older cats that way. Espically your mother and clan deputy. Keep it up" she growled.

"I will! I've nothing to live for!" he hissed back.

Cloudkit watched with a bit of fear going through his mind as the cats argued.

Ivyfire raised her voice "Don't you dare say that! I don't have to take care of you and protect you, no, but I choose to because I love you. But apparently you don't care"

"I don't care! You don't have to care for me! If I can't get you to know I forced him, then bye." He hissed. With that he started to walk to the corner of the nursery.

"Good!" she angrily walked over,picked up the kit and sat him outside the den. Returning to her nest with Cloudkit. "Hush my darling" she purred.

"Deadkit was only trying to help..." Cloudkit whispered.

"What's done is done" she licked the kits head.

"Okay..." Cloudkit said back uncertaintly.

"Everything will be okay" she wrapped her tail around the kit and pulled him close.
