Deadkit's ceremony

Rainstar jumped on to the high rock and called out" All cats old enough to catch their own prey join here for a clan meeting!"

Ivyfire finished cleaning the kits fur and stepped outside then den "Come little ones" she called.

Cloudkit bounded out and jumped on his adopted mother's back, climbing up on her head. "Why is Rainstar all the way up there?"

Reedkit poked his head out of the nursery, wanting to watch.

"That's where she does the ceremonies from,Dear" Ivyfire purred.

"Ceremonies?" Cloudkit thought for a second. "You mean like the ceremony I'm gonna have when I become Badgertail's apprentice?"

Ivyfire purred "Exactly, lets go take a seat" she purred and padded toward the rock.

Reedkit bolted out, coming to a skidding halt beside them. "Can I watch?" He asked.

Deadkit sat down, away from the others.

"Of course little one" Ivyfire purred at Reedkit.

"Yes!" Reedkit breathed, plopping down on his haunches and wathing his mother on the rock.

Bluejay padded from the Warriors' Den, and instead of taking his usual seat next to his mate and kits, he made a sharp turn and then settled back into the shadows. He was determined to keep away from his only son by blood, who he was convinced hated him. And, he knew that would only cause him pain, so he stayed put in the shadows with dull eyes.

"Deadkit Step up." She ordered her eyes gazeing along the crowed for Deadkit.

ooc: Fire: pm me your mentor please.

ooc: what do you mean? I choose one? *confused*

Deadkit walked up to Rainstar, waiting for the rest.

ooc: yes you do, unless you want me to choose.

Rainstar looked Down at Deadkit "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Deadpaw. Your mentor will be Swiftpath. I hope Swiftpath will pass down all he knows to you.Swiftpath, step up."

Swiftpath walked over to highrock "Of course." he mewoed, and waited for Deadpaw to touch noses with him.

"Swiftpath, you are ready to take on an apprentice.You have shown yourself to be Brave and fast. You will be the mentor of Deadpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him." She finished then leaped down.

"Deadpaw! Deadpaw!" Reedkit cheered happily.

"Deadpaw, Deadpaw! Deadpaw, Deadpaw!" Bluejay cheered.
