Another death

Ooc: I know that I sound like an a******, but I'm killing him off because he's not getting training... So say what you want.

Deadpaw was walking, his eyes closed. When he came to the thunder path, he opened his eyes at the smell. He didn't realize that be had gotten this far. He watched as monsters passed by. He took a few steps forward, he didn't know what he was doing. He felt drawn towards shadowclan. He paused, trying to force himself back. By the time he turned back, a monster was only an in away. He was hit with the powerful force. His limp body hit the ground with a thud.

Mintleaf was padding through the forest, looking for prey, when suddenly a different scent hit her nose.

Blood.

She raced towards to thunderpath, and gasped at the sight of Deadpaw's body. NO! She thought, grabbing his scruff and dragging him away from the thunderpath. She sniffed the cold, lifeless fur of Deadpaw. "Deadpaw...No..." She murmured, crouching for a moment, head down and tail drooping.

After a few moments of silence, Mintleaf looked up, regaining herself. Her legs were numb from shock, and she began to stiffly drag Deadpaw's body in the direction of camp, every now and then tripping over her own feet. What was she to do...? The clan would be upset. But she had to tell them...One way or another.

After a while, she made it to the camp entrance. Dropping the tom's body in the middle of camp, she let out a loud meow of warning and sadness. Anyone could tell by her tone that something bad happened.

Bluejay had been resting in the shade, half asleep, with his back to the entrance. He had been too calm and tired to scent blood and the acrid tang of Thunderpath hovering through the air. He raised his head slowly, yawning, then Mintleaf let out a loud, stressful yowl. He leaped to his paws, jaws parted, and he caught the scent of Thunderpah, death and....No...not him. Not him.... Please no.

Deadpaw.

He spun around, wheeling towards Mintleaf and Deadpaw. He pulled to a hault, hovering over Deadpaw. He looked at his son desperately.

"Deadpaw?"

He nudged Deadpaw's shoulder.

No reply. Just death.

"Deadpaw?"

Silence.

"Deadpaw?!"

Wind.

"DEADPAW?!?!"

Silence.

Bluejay drove his claws into the ground, tears flooding his face as he screamed with grief and fury.

ooc: Wait, now both of Ivystar's kits are dead? Time to pull out the Bluestar attitude.

IC: Firesage followed Bluejay. Because he was bored. Because it sounded urgent. He looked down at Deadpaw, the blood. The smell of death. The smell of monsters.

Ivystar smelled blood in her den. She ran out, seeing no one in camp she rushed out of camp and saw the 3.

She peeked past them and saw her only son, she hung her head and slowly began back to camp.

Mintleaf dug her nose into her fallen clanmate's fur, crying softly and silently. She said nothing, nor looked at anyone.

OOc- Double Bluestar. ThunderClan's going to crumble. Bluejay is going Bluestar too.

IC- "No.." Bluejay whispered, nuzzling his son. "You can't leave..." he whispered.

ooc: lul CX then Fire comes to the rescue >:P

IC: Firesage let out a deep sigh. "No medicine cat. Another dead apprentice." He rolled his eyes. They really should be more careful... not like he cared, anyway. "What has ThunderClan come to?"

Mintleaf staggered to her paws. "I don't know...Is starclan mad at us?" She thought out loud.

Bluejay had snapped. His life was being ripped apart, than none other than StarClan. "StarClan doesn't exist for us. They've never cared. If they did, they wouldn't let our young ones die. StarClan is just a nursery tale." he decided abruptly.

Firesage turned Bluejay, his gaze turning fiery. His eyes turned almost into flint as he let out a low growl. "StarClan is not a nursery tale. It's real. It's alive. It's all ThunderClan can turn to in times of great despair. If you dare call StarClan a nursery tale, you're not a real warrior." The words seethed out of him, coming as a low, menacing his.

Mintleaf just stared silently at Bluejay, a face of shock. Finally, she shook her head. "I think Bluejay is just upset." She mewed quietly to Firesage. "Let's leave him with his son. Want to go hunting? There is still a clan to feed." She offered, though inside she had no idea how she would hunt knowing yet another clanmate had just died.

Firesage shocked back into reality. Nursery tale? Surely not. Firesage had visited StarClan before and saw his mother. "Actually, I have other duties to attend to, Mintleaf," he replied and stalked off back to ThunderClan.

"Right." Mintleaf sighed, padding out of camp, unsure of what to do. She was a bit sad Firesage didn't want to join her. She didn't know why. Just a guess. Oh well. She had to hunt for Thunderclan, so she was going to do just that.

As a tidal wave of fresh tears nearly knocked Bluejay down, he leaned down and lay his head on Deadpaw's shoulder. "Where are you going? StarClan doesn't care enough to protect us.." he whispered sadly.

Ivystar was crouched behind Bluejay, she whimpered trying to get his attention.

Bluejay looked up, turning to Ivystar. "Yes, Ivystar?" he whispered gently.

She crept forward and shover her muzzle into his chest fur "W-Why does Starclan hate us? I'm trying my best!"

He licked her head. "I don't know. We're all trying our best. Maybe we should abandon StarClan..." he whispered.

"How?" she asked
