Ivyfire sat in camp, she sighed. She looked around, no one. She waited for someone to post.

Mintleaf padded out of the warriors den and let out a yawn. She looked over at Ivyfire. "Hey." She purred.

"Hello Mintleaf. How are you?" she smiled at the young warrior.

"Decent." She yawned, padding over. "How about you?"

Ivyfire sighed "I'm worried about Bluejay. Have you talked to him lately?"

"Besides training as an apprentice and small chat in camp, not really." Mintleaf replied, looking a little confused. "Why? Something wrong?"

"He's been so depressed lately. I'm worried about him." Ivyfire looked at her paws and let a tear drip down her cheek.

Mintleaf sighed. "Well I have occasionally noticed him trying to talk to Deadpaw. Maybe he's scared Deadpaw doesn't like him?" She guessed with a shrug.

Ooc: I love Mint's calm, casual attitude XD

Bluejay had been derping in the shadows the whole time. He sighed, then padded towards them. "Mintleaf's right...I do worry he doesn't like me. He's just..." Bluejay sighed, his eyes sparkling with worry and the beginning of tears. "It's just...I wish I could be a better Father to him.."

Ivyfire nuzzled her mate "Your a wonderful father. I told you before, Deadpaw doesn't like anyone. When he was a kit I had to continually keep him away from his siblings. Don't feel bad about that."

ooc: No, I wish I could do that |D You know...except for Blackstorm cuz then I would have a bad attitude all the time, or I would probably be dead .3.

ic: Mintleaf blinked in surprise as Bluejay appeared. "Really? You know what I think? I think since you are upset around him from thinking that, he's worried you don't like him. Just my guess. Ever think about that...?" She asked, tilting her head.

"N..No, I didn't...." Bluejay said. Then he totally facepawed. "See? I'm a horrible Father!" Bluejay said, hanging his head.

"Stop saying that! It's not true!" Ivyfire meowed.

"No, even I just now thought of that. Just because you weren't the first to think of something, doesn't mean you're a bad cat. Besides, I can't name a cat who doesn't respect you for your strength and bravery." She purred encouragingly.

Bluejay looked up. "Thank you Mintleaf, Ivyfire." he said, his tail-tip twitching. "I'll try to be happier, even though I really am happy, but..I just have this feeling it's my fault that Deadpaw is like this.."

"You worry over the smallest things. It's not like you can force him to love you..or even like you for that matter. He's growing up and pretty soon will be making his own choices and will have a family of his own. Don't worry about him" Ivyfire smiled.

ic: Mintleaf nodded. "You can't change who he is. You never really could, so it's not your fault. But then again, I can't change what you think. Now I'm confusing myself." She purred in amusement.
