Being A Lazy Blob 'O Fur

Bluejay lay just outside the warriors den, tongues of black shadows lapping over him. He sighed contentedly, relaxed by the shade. I wonder where Ivyfire is....Probably still sleeping. he thought, hoping she would come out soon. He let his bluejay-blue eyes carry over to Rainstar's den. Hm...She needs to pick a deputy soon. There aren't many choices, but the warriors she has are good enough. he thought again, closing his eyes. "I bet being deputy is cool.." he whispered lazily.

"hey bluejay!" Rainstar mewed as she walked out of her den.

Ivyfire padded over groggily "Hi, Bluejay" she meowed.

"Hey Ivyfire, Rainstar!" he greeted.

Ivyfire sat down beside him. "Hows your morning?" she asked putting her tail close to his.

"Great!" he purred. Now that your here. he added in his head. "How's yours, Ivyfire?" he asked, smiling.

She smiled "Great" She purred shyly. "Bluejay, can I ask you something?" she asked.

"Sure." he said, standing up. "What is it?" he asked, looking into her fire-colored blind eyes.

Ivyfire kept her gaze straight"Do..Do you ever think of us as..more than friends?" she asked.

Bluejay's face turned pale red. "Y...Yes Ivyfire, I do." he said, nodding briskly. "D...Do you?" he asked, keeping his gaze straight and level, much like her.

Ivyfire blushed "Yes, I love you Bluejay" she meowed, keeping her gaze level.
