It's been A while .3.

Aurastar padded down from the Jagged Rock and looked around. The circles under her eyes indicating she hadn't slept in days, she wondered where everyone was.

Leopardpaw jumped out from the corner and jumped softly on Aurastar's back, laughing and full of energy. "Hi!" he greeted.

Aurastar's eyes widened then she realized what had happened. "hello there little one" she softly shook her pelt.

Leopardpaw slipped off of Aurastar's back slowly. "Watcha up to?" he asked, a smile on the apprentice's face.

"Looking around camp. Where is everyone?" she inquired.

"Morning!" Blackfur padded over happily. Suddenly he stopped, studying Aurastar. "Are you tired?" he asked.

"Hi!" Leopardpaw greeted.

"Yea, but it really doesn't matter." she half smiled.

Blackfur's eyes flashed just a bit darker grey than they already were. He shook his head. "You can tell me. I might be able to help." He mewed calmly, sitting down.

Aurastar sighed "Sometimes I just..want to give up."

"Why? The clan is prospering. You're a great leader, and I'm sure I'm not the first to say it." He mewed.

"Because..almost everyone I love is..gone.." she sniffeled.

"Aw, cheer up, Aurastar!" Leopardpaw purred. "They all had to go... at somepoint."

Tinypaw, who had been there the whole time because he lived there but the other cats had simply been oblivious to him, nodded as he padded over. "Brother is right. Not all cats live for ever." he paused, his voice growing dim and grave. "Not even leaders."

Ic: Aurastar looked at the two,"Thats right, but they also didn't have to die young." she leaned down "And leave me with that furball" she flicked her tail to Blackfur and started to laugh.

Tinypaw narrowed his eyes, flexing his claws in anger, a small hiss escaping his lips, though he tried not to his. He shrugged. "It's the truth. StarClan planned it that why. You can't change their minds." he snapped.

Aurastar grwled,fluffed up her fur and stood over the aprentice "What was that?" she hissed, giving him a sern look.

Tinypaw wasn't scared of her, and he returned the cold stern gaze with a flaming cold one of his own. "I said it's the truth, but StarClan planned it that way!" he boomed, standing up.

Blackfur chuckled when he was called a fur-ball, bu then returned to his normal self. "No! Please don't start fighting. You're both right, though stuff happens. Everything will be okay in the end though. They are in a better place, and we all can be happy. They are always with us, right?" He mewed hopefully. Suddenly he dropped his head. "Lucky you guys. I never had parents, remember? I never even got to know the cats I might have loved. You guys are all I have." He murmured. "But it's okay. I like Shadowclan, and I'd never rather be anywhere else."

"Stay out of this Tinypaw or you'll be cleaningthe elders for 3 moons. You are right but no need to go shoving your nose into a leader's buissness. Got it?" she snapped, her once warm heart now cold as stone.

Blackfur looked at his leader in surprise. "I'm sorry. I was in your business too." he mewed, making sure Tinypaw wasn't the only one being blamed.

"Blackfur. As my son your involved. I'm sorry I snapped" she meowed calmly and wrapped her tail around her paws. Taking deep breaths.

But no one loves me, either, Blackpaw.

Tinypaw thought with remorse and longing. He stood up, his heart feeling warm and happy, but cold and shadowed at the same time. He didn't know which was right. He walked away to a shadowed corner of the camp, and lay down, hiding his face in his paws.

ic: Blackfur watched Tinypaw for a moment. "Yes, Aurastar. I'm still in your dept for raising me." He purred. "Like I said, Shadowclan is my home."
