A Deep Bite Reversed

Poison padded down a crest, leaving the rogues territory and entering SkyClan. The Camp quickly came into view. He only knew the camp but mews and chattering swarming in the air. But, he kept on, and, eventually, reached the camp with the two kits. He padded into the camp, and stood right in the middle, Tiger and Night right by his side.

Squirrelstar, in old age, with her blurred vision and depression, raced forward, claws unsheathed. She didn't notice her kits, but was bent on killing the rogue before her.

"I... Squirrelstar..." Tiger couldn't find the words to explain everything... that she tried to get away... that she missed her mom so much. "We missed you so much, mom..."

Leopardclaw jumped to his paws. "Wait! Squirrelstar, he brought them back. Lets see what he has to say." He said. Leopardclaw watched at a distance, hoping his leader would take his advice.

Squirrelstar skidded to a halt and her amber eyes flitted to her kits, walking over to them, she wrapped her tail around her son and daughter. She stared at the rogue, waiting for him to speak.

Poison met her gaze. He blinked his green eyes. "Well, I've brought them back. I'm going to try to take them all back. Except the older ones." He dipped his head respectfully, a rare sight to see from a rogue, even a Clan-born one, then he turned and left.

Leopardclaw was shocked at the respect from the rouge. "Thanks.." He kind of half muttered.

Birdflight rushed over and looked at his kits, stunned. "You're okay!" He whispered, too happy to speak louder. He nuzzled them then looked up at Squirrelstar. "Our kits are home." He purred.

Night loked up "Does this mean we can be apprentices now?"

Tiger looked up at her dad as a tear fell from her cheek.

"Of course." He purred, licking the tear off Tigerkit's cheek. Birdflight nodded to Squirrelstar. "They are old enough, I believe." He mewed.
