ic- The river flowed gently, the moonlight soft and light. You could make out a cat in the bushes before it padded out. The thick-furred animal sat down on the shore, staring into the water.
She watched fish swim around before she noticed something odd. Spottedshadow stared at her refclection, watching as it seemed to change into her mother.
She stared down, swallowing a yowl of despair. A tear dripped away from thee exprensionless face, hitting the her reflection. The water rippled in reply as Spottedshadow collapsed, digging her face in her paws. She dug long claws in the soft sand.
Did her sister know? It had only happened yesterday though, right?

Slowly, Sparrowpaw crept over to Spottedshadow, worry pricking his pelt. "Spottedshadow? Spottedshadow, what's wrong?" he asked, padding over and sitting down next to her. He deeply hoped nothing serious was wrong.

Spottedshadow scrambled to her paws. "N-n-nothing!" she stuttered. Awwww, Sparrow cared. ;u;
