Just a Sittin'

Robinflight lay on the sunningrocks, the gentle breeze cooling her off as she sunned herself on the smooth stones. Her green eyes gleamed bright in the sunshine and her sleek, clean fur somewhat glowing. "A perfect day for sunning," she whispered joyfully to herself, happy to have a break from duties for a little bit. She loved her Clan, but sometimes she just needed a break.

Mist saw his friend in the distance. Since he had nothing better to do, he padded over to her. "Hey. What are you doing?" he asked.

Robinflight turned around with a yawn, seeing Mist. "Oh, nothing much. Just taking a little break," she mewed in response, taking a deep, joyful breath, soaking in the warmth of the sun.

"Oh. Well... I was wondering if you, um... like, wanted to do a patrol or something..." Mist said nervously.

Ooc: sorry fo popping in, but are they gonna become mates? :D

ooc: I dunno. Why?

IC: Robinflight looked at the apprentice, a little suprised. "Oh, sure..."

Ooc: just because I love watching how it all plays out...

"You don't have to if you don't want to..."

"It's fine. Let's go on a border patrol," Robinflight mewed, walking away and flicking her tail for Mist to follow.

Mist followed her happily.

Robinflight stopped by the river. "This is the river," she meowed. "It seperates RiverClan and ThunderClan."

Mist looked down at the River. He recognized it as the place they had gone hunting the other day.

Robinflight led the apprentice further, coming up to the gorge. She took a step back. "This is the gorge," she meowed worridly. "Never fall in."

Mist ran over to the edge and looked down. "Cool!"

Robinflight pulled Mist back by the scruff, before the apprentice could fall in.

Mist looked up at her. "I was just looking!"

"You won't be just looking if you fall in," Robinflight said crossidly, guiding Mist to a different area.

Mist didn't think he was going to fall in. He followed her to the new area.

Robinflight brought Mist to sunningrocks, where they had set off. "And this, of course, is sunningrocks." Robinflight looked around. "And it looks like that's everything..."

"Thanks." Mist said, glad to have gotten to spend time with her. "You can go back to your nap, or whatever it was you were doing now."

"No, I think I'll go back to camp." Robinflight looked at Mist softly. "Do you want to come with me?"

Mist nodded.
