Because She Can

Foxpaw sat in the middle of the camp playing with a leaf.

Cloudpaw saw Foxpaw in the distance, and looked at the scar on his nose from when Brackenkit and Foxkit had amubushed him. Derp.

Foxpaw threw the leaf in the air and it fell on her nose, causing her to sneeze. Angrily, she tore the leaf up. Not sure of what to do, she looked around and spotted Cloudpaw. She padded over. "Hi Cloudpaw," Foxpaw meowed.

"Oh... Hi," Cloudpaw mewed back.

"Are you still mad at me for scratching you when we were kits?"

"Err... Maybe just a little," Cloudpaw answered. "I still have the scar."

"Oh, sorry about that," Foxpaw smiled.

Mintpaw padded outside and glanced at them. Rather than greeting them, she padded over to a sunny spot and sat down with a yawn, beginning to groom herself.

Foxpaw noticed Mintpaw. "Hi!" She said, walking over.

"Hello." Mintpaw mewed, looking up. "How are you?"

"Eh, I'm fine," she replied.

Mintpaw huffed at her plain answer. "You bored too?" She asked, looking away.

"Yeah, there's nothing to do!"

Suddenly a kitten's war screech came from the clearing back of the clearing and She leaped on to Mintpaw and laughed. "I got you!" Bluekit squealed

Mintpaw gasped as she was attacked. "Huh? Oh it's you." She purred, looking at Bluekit.
