Brightkit sat by the entrance of camp, pain swelling in her chest every time she thought of her mom. "I miss you," she looked up to the sky, praying she'd find her mom and go away. Mom, Silver, and I... It wasn't that WindClan wasn't a good place, but she wanted to be in the comfort of her parents.

"Yes," Brightkit answered simply, looking at the territory, hoping to see her mom. But she knew that her mom would probably never find her... And that she'd probably never see her mom ever again.

It took Darkkit a moment to realize what had just happened. He took off after Brightkit, trying to catch her.
