Silver is Hungry....

Silver padded out of the nursery and his eyes widened when he saw the fresh-kill pile he zoomed over and grabbed two juicy mice and a rabbit for him and his sister to share, he dragged in to a sunny spot and started tearing into his mouse.

Bright walked quietly out of the nursery, her head hanging low and her paws still a little sore. She went up next to her brother and layed down sadly.

Silver licked his sisters forehead and asked "What's wrong?"

Bright held back a bought of tears as sadness clouded her eyes. "I miss ma," she answered softly.

"I do too..." he meowed softly "I got you a mouse and you and me can split this rabbit" he meowed trying to cheer her up

Ivoryleaf wearily padded over, "Are you to okay?" she asked.

Quietpaw crept out of the apprentice den and sat a ways away, watching curiously, as if she was some kind of invisible guard over the kits.

"Yeah we just miss our ma..." he meowed finishing his mouse

"Would you like to do something to get your mind off of it?" she asked.

"Not really," Bright answered, hiding a tear as she buried her face into her legs.

"I'm gonna stay here with my sister" Silver meowed

Bright picked up the mouse and padded to the nursery and slowly ate it.

Silver watched his sister disappear into the nursery and asked the older cat "What is your name?"
