Sparrow's Training(Hunting)

Otterstar padded by the apprentice den. "Sparrowpaw!" She called.

"Training?" he guessed. He hadn't been in the den, but resting in the shade. He padded over from the shadows.

"Yes," Otterstar gave him a nod, heading out towards the entrance of camp.

Sparrowpaw followed out to the territory.

"Okay," Otterstar mewed, sitting down. "Show me your hunting crouch."

Sparrowpaw perched himself over the edge of the stream, but then he fell in with a loud splashed. Water flared up everywhere, and Sparrowpaw squirmed out, soaked and spluttering. "Sorry..." he mewed.

Otterstar let out a purr of amusement. "That's okay. Everyone makes mistakes. Try again."

Sparrowpaw repeated himself, with slight corrections, and perched correctly. And, out of instinct, lashed a paw out at the sight of a plump fish. Sparrowpaw turned to Otterstar after a quick killing strike. "I did it! I did it!" he squealed happily, picking up the fat fish.

The member 'Squirrelleap' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Hunting Dice' : 4

"Well done," Otterstar gave her apprentice a nod. "Now, try to catch one or two more fish."

OOC- I'll just do a double roll cause I'm lazy. Dx

IC- Sparrowpaw tried for a fish again, perching so his shadow didn't hang over the water and lashed out a paw. The fish flopped around on the ground then stilled once it received a quick strike from Sparrowpaw.

Sparrowpaw spotted a new fish, and lashed out for that one. Sparrowpaw missed the fish and watched it speed away in terror. "Catch some, miss some." he mewed optimistically.

The member 'Squirrelleap' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Hunting Dice' : 3, 1

Otterstar gave Sparrowpaw another nod. "Yes, two fish is enough. Grab your kill and lets head back to camp. Be sure to eat something. Later, we're going for a patrol."

Sparrowpaw nodded. "Yes, Otterstar." he mewed and picked up his fish then padded back to camp.
