Petalkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Squirrelstar leaped onto SkyRock and looked down at the Clan. She wanted to get this over with quickly, because she had held off on Petalkit's ceremony far too long. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath SkyRock for a Clan meeting!" the ginger she-cat yowled.

Petalkit sat down at the edge of camp, head low.

Birdflight padded over and sat down, looking up at the skyrock.

Nightpaw lightly padded over to sit next to Birdflight. "I bet it's Petalkit's apprentice ceremony."

"Petalkit, from now on, you shall be known as Petalpaw. Birdflight, you are ready for an apprentice. You will be Petalpaw's mentor.
" Birdflight, you are a noble and loyal warrior. I expect you to pass on all your skills to Petalpaw, so that she may be an honorable warrior of SkyClan." Squirrelstar called, nodding towards Petalpaw and Birdflight as she said their names.

Petalpaw turned her head to see Birdflight. After a few moments, she turned back. Well, little Birdy, if you think you're gonna wait to train me, then i'll be harder on you...

Birdflight nodded. "Thank you, Squirrelstar." He mewed, padding over and touching noses to Petalpaw. "We can start training right now if you're ready." He offered.

"What do you think?" Come on Little Bird.

"Come on then." Birdflight led the way out of camp.
