FEEERRRRPP!

Deadkit had a promise he had to keep, but he didn't want to keep it. He padded back to Cloudkit,and sat down back turned to him.

Cloudkit crossed his eyes at him and got up, padding further along the river.

Deadkit sighed and followed.

Cloudkit noticed Deadkit following, so he let out a hiss at the kit.

"Just stop with that. I made a promise." He said still following.

"I don't need your promise," Cloudkit retorted, speeding up.

"Stop acting like you're all high and mighty," he said matching Cloud's pace.

Cloudkit dashed to the left and climbed a tree, sitting on the highest branch he could find, even though it wasn't a very big tree.

Deadkit looked up the tree. He really didn't want to repeat when he was fallen on, but he would save Cloudkit either way.

Cloudkit looked at the kit, but then walked to the end of the branch and leaped on the next tree.

Deadkit just followed Cloudkit.

Cloudkit kept jumping tree to tree, occasionally looking at the ground and calling; "Stop following me!"

Deadkit still followed, "I can't. If i leave then you'd have to take the blame. I can't let that happen."

"You've already made it clear that I'ma ignorant little kit." Cloudkit shot a cold look at Deadkit before leaping to the next tree.

"No, I just said that because I can't accept that I'm that little ignorant kit." he said. He knew Cloudkit still wouldn't believe him, but he had to say it.

Cloudkit jumped off a tree into ThunderClan camp, hiding behind the medicine cat den

Deadkit entered camp, eyes searching all over camp for Cloudkit.

Cloudkit watched silently as Deadkit walked passed.

After a hour of searching, Deadkit fell to the ground, his eyes slowly closing.

Cloudkit got out when Deadkit gave up and silently walked to the nursery, going to a nest and taking a rest.

And the whole time, Iveh never found out

Ivyfire yawned "Where have you been little one?" she stopped "And where's Deadkit?" she asked.

Cloudkit looked up. "O-oh... I... Err... Playing? With Foxkit and B-Brackenkit?" He guessed.

Ivyfire blinked "Cloudkit, tell the truth."

"But.... I am!" Cloudkit retorted.

Ivyfire pointed her gaze to him "So, If I asked you're siblings. That's what they'd say? And to your father?" she asked.
