Brackenkit sat outside the nursery. She tilted her head back, staring at the stars. "Oneee, two, three, four, five." The kit shivered, fluffing up her short fur.

Deadkit walked out of the nursery and sat down. He just watched her, count the stars.

Foxkit walked out of the nursery and stared at Brackenkit. "Are you planning to count all of them, Brackenkit?"

"Mhhm~" The kit gave a small nod. "Why are you staring at me?" Brackenkit asked Deadkit.

Deadkit didn't answer her. He just kept watching her, like she was doing something weird.

Ivyfire yawned inside the nursery, she padded out "I'm going to see if Bluejay is awake. I expect you all to be tired by then, no?" she asked, purring at the kits curiosity.

Foxkit looked at Ivyfire and yawned, "Yeah, I guess so."
