Coldgaze is B-U-S-T-E-D

Otterstar furiously stood at the entrance of the camp, finally noticing Coldgaze's disappearences.

Thistleroot noticed his leader just standing at the entrance with a cold look on her face. Since it was a medicine cat's duty to help cats, blah, blah, blah, the tom went up to Otterstar with a fake look of concern.

"Is there something wrong?" he meowed, trying to put as much worry into his tone as was possible for the narcissistic cat.

ooc: Otterstar is a her ono

IC: Otterstar didn't even look at the meddie, but kept her gaze on the territory. "Coldgaze, he's been missing, so I've figured out." she shot a look at Thistleroot. "And you wanna know what I scented on him? Rogue!"

Ooc: oops, sorry .3.;

Ic:
"So you've finally noticed, huh. Well, I've also scented milk around him. Our best guess is that he was with a rogue queen. Either he was just helping her, though I wonder why not bring her here, or she's his mate." he hissed and fixed his eyes on the territory as well. His refined nose helped him notice the smallest of scents, thanks to being a medicine cat.

"He better have an extrordinary excuse." Otterstar let out a growl.

Occ: O3O

Ic: Coldgaze padded into camp with Sparrowkit in his jaws, he gently sat the kit down and wrapped his tail around his son. "Hello,Otterstar" he gulped and looked at his leader.

OOC- Let's say this is when I'm older. o3o

IC- Sparrowkit sat, his father's tail curled around him. "Dad, where are we? And where are Mom, and Black, and Mist?" he wailed. "Where are they, Dad?" his wails grew louder as he turned around, waiting for them to come through any second.

Coldgaze looked at him "This is my clan, we are Riverclan. You're home is here now, with me. But, we can visit your Mom and siblings, I promise" he purred,smiling.

Sparrowkit purred and then, deciding to ignore the dark brown tabby and the black cats he didn't know, scurried off into the heart of camp, towards the fresh-kill pile. A moment later, he came back, dragging a fish about as big as him, by the tail. "Dad, look what I found! And there are a bunch more over there!" he said, pointing towards the large pile of fish with his tail, amber eyes shining as he dropped the large fish down in front of his Dad, Coldgaze.

A rustle sounded from the warriors den and Trouttail padded forward, eyes narrowed. "Hello, Coldgaze." he hissed flatly, eyes glinting with rage. "I've smelled rogue on you for a while now, but thought nothing of it. Now you've had a kit with that rogue? How bad does it get? Coldgaze, what've you done?"

"Suspicions confirmed." Thistleroot growled under his breath and glanced at Otterstar. He looked back at Coldgaze, then down at the kit.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you little one but your dad did something bad. You might not be able to see your mom." he meowed truthfully, knowing that if he lied to the kit, it would just be worse for it.

Coldgaze purred "Good job!" he nodded. He stepped forward in front of his son, "This is not his fault. His mother,Dove,she is a rogue and we fell in love. When I found out she was expecting kits , I didn't know what to do. This is my son, this is Sparrowkit. I admit i've done wrong and broken the code but there is no need to punish him"

Coldgaze looked at the two cats then to his Dad, ultimately confused. "Dad, what do you mean? What do they mean?" he wailed, shrinking down into a tiny bundle of brown, with two smudges of white.

Coldgaze brung him closer "We in the clans follow a code call the warrior code. Your mother and I were never supposed to have kits but we did...and we love you anyways"

IC: Otterstar let out a hiss. "That doesn't mean that I won't go without punishing you."

Sparrowkit fluffed out his fur, and bared his small teeth, and stepped forward towards Otterstar. "I won't let you hurt or punish my father!" he screamed furiously, stepping in front of Coldgaze.

Otterstar looked down at the kit. "If you're in RiverClan, the first thing to learn is leader's word is law"

Sparrowkit's fur flattened a little, but the kit was still angry. "But you can't punish Daddy!" he wailed.

"You have no say in this" Otterstar mewed, bit of growl in her voice as she walked to highrock.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather for a Clan meeting!"

Spottedpaw padded out. She looked at her mentor, eyes round. "You lied?" she whispered.
Spottedpaw turned away from her mentor, walking off.

Coldgaze picked up his son and sat him back where he was, "I'm sorry,Spottedpaw!" he hung his head."I've failed you.." he whispered


Occ: He is ready for his death punishment...

"FAILUREEEEEEE." Spottedpaw ignored im, staring round eyed at the kit now. "Omahgoshitissooooooocuutte!" she squealed.

Sparrowkit smiled. "Thank you." he purred quietly, then scuttled away from his father and the rest of the Clan and hid in the shadows, thinking. So..I'm a mistake? I was never supposed to happen? I shouldn't be alive? he thought, thinking.(Fail) Slowly, he began to cry faintly.

Spottedpaw followed the kit. She wrapped her fluffy tail around him and licked his [insertcolor] ear gently. "It's okay..." the small apprentice whispered.

OOC- White. His ears are white.

IC- Sparrowkit shook his head. "No it's not! I shouldn't even be alive! I'M A MISTAKE!" he wailed.

"No you're not." Spottedpaw soothed, wrapping her tail tighter around him. "You're perfect, just the way you are."
